About Anton Uporov
Anton Uporov is a consultant surgeon with subspecialty expertise in thoracic surgery. Training and practice took him to several leading hospitals in Germany, building comprehensive skills in thoracic surgical care.
After medical school at the Ural State Medical Academy in Yekaterinburg (1991–1997) he completed postgraduate training in internal medicine (gastroenterology) there (1997–1998). He later undertook recognition studies at TU Dresden Medical Faculty (2004–2005) and received German licensure in October 2010.
His surgical training began in 2005 at Elblandklinikum Riesa; from 2015 he focused on thoracic surgery at Heckeshorn Lung Clinic (Helios Emil von Behring, Berlin), with further posts at Charité Berlin thoracic surgery and UKSH Lübeck. Since April 2024 he has been senior consultant thoracic surgery at Helios Klinikum Hildesheim.
Since 2008 he has regularly worked as an emergency physician, bringing structured emergency judgement to acute situations.
